Senior Associate

Chelsea Edwards Hunt, Senior Associate, is the most recent addition to The Alexander Group’s team. A former journalist, she has a natural curiosity about people and what drives them. She understands that interviewing skills are crucial: asking the right questions at the right time can have a huge impact on the outcome of a discussion.

Previously, Ms. Hunt was a reporter for ABC7 Eyewitness News, Los Angeles’ number one news station. Prior to that, she was a correspondent for CBS Newspath as well as TV stations in New York and Arkansas. Before her on-air experience, Ms. Hunt was promoted to several behind-the-scenes roles at the Fox News Channel’s L.A. bureau, and served as the Los Angeles Police Department beat reporter for City News Service, the nation’s largest regional wire service.

What do you love about your work?

I love hearing people’s stories. I get excited to find out what makes a person tick, delve into their background and learn about their experiences, achievements and goals for the future.

What’s the single most important thing a prospective client needs to know about you?

I am relentless.

What’s the best piece of advice (personal or professional) you’ve ever received?

My late godfather Richard Carlson, author of the “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” book series, used to say, “You are what you practice most.” I have carried that thought with me throughout my professional and personal life. It is a great reminder to step back, reevaluate and adjust as necessary.
